I have purchased the original app and it was excellent. I used to create and share ase palettes very easily. The new Studio is not allowing us access to guides colors but created palettes do not allow ase file creation and sharing. Please fix.

Is there anyway to return to the previous version. The new one loads very slowly and I much prefer the older style.
New review 9/20/16: after every paying customer trashed the company for stealing $10 from customers then attempting to get us to pay a monthly subscription on top of it...Pantone seems to have wised up and allowed us to "restore our purchases" via in app settings. The app works well now that I have what I originally paid for. I dont think I would pay their current subscription price if I had to. You can get the entire Microsoft Office office suite for neatly what they are charging per month...or you can get...colors. Old review: I paid $10 for a functional pay-once app with access to colors, and they stole it and gave me and everyone else a hobbled app that begs for subscription money instead. Do not support this morally bankrupt company. Ugh.
I payed for the app about two years ago, ran several updates no problem but this latest one is garbage. Ran it thinking it was going to be innocuous but it made the app unusable for me. And now they want me to pay for it again to get the same access to the books that were available before the update. No thanks. The App Store needs a feature that allows you reinstall previous versions.
i honestly find this app completely perfect, i dont know why it has such salty ratings. i managed to find anything i need and wanted, and it allows me to do so much more. this app is perfect, i really recommend it.
As last person commented, I have also paid for this app. After the latest update, they have changed to monthly fee. Not fair! They should have kept the old one & made a new app for the monthlys. I am extremely disappointed!!
dont waste your time in this
Great job pulling a handy tool out from under us. I used the myPanonte app for reference and to quickly ID colors on our shop floor. Now we cannot access what we already paid for, and must pay again (and monthly) to see any books we use. Deleted, and will not be going back to this mess.
Edit: finally the new update has fixed all my purchases and all the Pantone books and colors are restored. Thanks for fixing this.
Great! It works perfectly.
I payed the original $10 app price. Then they make you pay the monthly subscription fee. Top it off, deleted my palettes I use for work! Terrible. Straighten up, Pantone!
I am a designer and have been looking for an app this powerful for years. Hexadecimal, PMS without limits. Bless you Pantone!!!
So—after I paid for this app its been swapped out for a subscription service? Newp. Thats a dick move right there.
How come paid app starting over!!
I have previously purchased myPantone and was able to restore full access to this new app. Nice and keep up the good work!
"Colors displayed here may not match Pantone standards". I learned the hard way after choosing the wrong color. Whats the point of having this app then???
I reluctantly bought this app based on the horrible reviews but noticed since the latest update, the reviews improved. Seems the developer put out the app prematurely. Running the app on a iPhone 4 and its very useful but a tad pokey. So far no crashes. Ability to browse a large portion of the Pantone library and explore complimentary pallets will prove very useful in my concept work. Emailing a palette displays all the specs you need such as HexDex, RGB, etc. So far so good. Will report back if it turns on me.
cant work with ipod touch 2nd generation, my ios 4.2
Im a jewelry artist & I bought this app to give me a portable color reference for the spring 2012 colors. Not only is that palate not readily available in the app, when I took a pic of the colors on the website & had the app pick them it wasnt even close. The color names arent included & neither are the color numbers that are given for the spring 2012 colors, so searching for either if those is futile. I already have palates pro & Ive had more luck finding (or estimating) the colors through it. Dont waste your money. I want mine back!
Besides the colors not being greatly accurate. So much development energery was put on finding colors with the fandeck or image which is perfect but I really wish you could create larger palettes (on same screen) and was a little more interactive. Hopefully Pantone can fix this.
