I had the old myPantone app - which was good. But, this new Pantone Studio is so much better! I love the chromatic color picker. Photo sharing and color extraction is really cool. Im still finding new areas in the app. Love it!!

Watch out! You might buy this app one day and the next day you go to use it, youll have to pay for a subscription!! Or you might pay for a subscription, only to find out one day that rules have changed yet again! This company is deplorable. Theyve been paid 10.00 from thousands of users for an app that they "updated" to what now amounts to 70% of the original app cost---MONTHLY! Yes, you are reading correct. Theyve stole our money and are now (trying to charge) those same customers a monthly subscription fee. 7 bucks a month to use--- what I paid 10 bucks to buy. Apple! We want a refund.

I found it occasionally useful to use the MyPantone app in conjunction with our (very expensive) set of paper Pantone decks. The new app is incomprehensible, and Im not likely to subscribe just to find out how it works. Also lost all my previously saved work. I can see the desire to create a new app, but do not really understand why they needed to delete the previous one.

Lord this app, and used it often to show clients color options for print projects. Didnt use it a lot, but was grateful for it when I did. Today I was shocked to learn that the app is now useless - unless I opt to pay 7$ a month. Really?! I paid in full for the print book, and this feels like a money-grabbing bait & switch. Bad policy, Pantone.

I got my colors back, but Im still fairly confused as to how to use this new interface. Im trying to learn it though. I am worried about future updates like others have mentioned. I feel you cant just change the rules from customers previous expectations.

I would like my money back. I bought an app several years ago with full access to all Pantone colors. Now everywhere I turn there is an in app purchase. Refund my $4.99. Shady business. Lost a faithful customer. No longer a fan. Corporate greed at its best.

Started using this app and it has saved me tremendous amount of time at work. The Pantone app is perfect for any design and art professional.

I was one of the people who went on a rant rampage, but after contacting customer support, I was given very helpful step-by-step instructions that restored my full access without payment. I appreciate X-Rite inc. for honoring the purchase of previous MyPantone users and restoring full access to all of us. Thank you very much! Im happy to now be a user of the new Pantone Studio.

I paid for the app!! Now they want me to pay monthly!!!!!! What kind of greed company!! Do not pay a penny to them shame on you pantone!!! And I want my money back!!!

Imagine my surprise when I went to use my Pantone app on my phone, and it was completely different. I paid $10 for the original app. Now, it has been replaced with a neutered version and expects me to pay a subscription. This is bad business and immoral in my opinion.

I paid for this app once and now you want us to pay per month shame of you and shame of Apple Store to let you do this.

The colors, the LAB values listed dont even match. And they charged 9.99 for this app, and now, in order to continue using the app, I have to subscribe??? What a joke. Save your money. Dont buy. You cant even match a device screen with a materials color. It does t work.

I originally paid $9.99USD for this app and now all I have access to is a free app that anyone can download and an opportunity to pay for additional services and no way to know what those are. Im not thrilled with this at all. Would at least like a refund of the original cost.

Update: They restore access to all colors but still useless. In portrait mode cant read color numbers and in landscape mode cant see the color. Bad design and even worst business model. I have the $10 previous version and now is GONE. I want it back!!! . Shame on you Pantone. This is DISHONEST.

I still love you guys.

It was disorienting to see ones paid app go away, especially if it is vital to your line of business. But, Pantone owned and fixed it! We all know stuff happens;most of it us are fine with that as long as a company is willing to say "about mistake; we care about customers and want to fix this!". I love the new platform. It is perfect for me.

My purchased access was restored. Pantone messed up but they did a good job of fixing it. The only thing is, if I didnt already own this I would have to buy subscription access I think, which I dont like.
